Bought an inverter & am regretting the day I bought one. The entire buying experience has been bad. Firstly I was sold an obsolete model by the dealer & the company refused to honour it’s warranty. Secondly, the battery belonging to the company stopped functioning after a few days. Then again the company didn’t replace it inspite of repeated pleas. I have bought a new battery & would be buying a new Inverter, but never again anything from the Luminous stable. Their company service is just horrible. I am feeling cheated by the company & the dealer.
I have so far made at least a 100 calls to the company. I have finally bought an Exide battery instead of the lousy Luminous battery & am planning to replace the Inverter ASAP. My advice to you guys is go for an Exide/ any other standard battery manufacturer & buy the inverter from a company which promises better service. Luminous is definitely not among them.
