Not good

After her cameo in the forgettable ’Bombay Velvet’, Raveena Tandon is returning to the big screen with the hard-hitting ’Maatr’ that deals with the grim subject of rape. The trailer dropped online on Thursday afternoon and tells the heart-wrenching story of a mother who sets out to avenge her daughter’s death.

The film is set in Delhi and sees Raveena playing Vidya, who is left shattered after her daughter Tia’s gruesome murder. What makes matters worse is the lax attitude of the police and the judiciary towards the case. When her husband and the cops offer her no support, Raveena’s character takes it upon herself to seek revenge and mete out punishment to the culprits.
