On wife’s birthday I wanted to go to some nice place ti dine . Problem with me was I reside at Borivali and most of the better places are either at Bandra or andheri . After days work we did not want to drive in city traffic so we were searching for the places around Borivali. From Malad to Ghodbunder road we went thru most of the names but did not find anything special. Bit disappointed.
One friend suggested Machan at Malad. so booked the table for two . Guy took our reservation confirmed the occasion and name.
Reached the place and were ushered immediately to the table, though the table had no reservation plate.
Menu: Not much of variety . There are lesser options to choose from.
ordered Bharatpur ki chaat: it was very mexicanique taste.
Kabab: Decent taste.
Cocktails: OK
Main course: had asked for some rice thing . it was ok
Food: overall is ok
Ambience: was very good . its jungle theme place . people are dressed in animal skins(oops)
Rates: On higher side( will cost min 1000 per person for starter and main course)
Waiting time: Went with reservation so no waiting time.
Value for Money: Not exactly if food is only criterion for it.
Best thing I liked: The expressions on wife’s face when in the end the staff got guitar and started singing Happy BDay song with candle and cake:)
