The initial problem with Machino-Techno is the same as all the company authorised service workshops in India.They do not allow the customer to view actually what is being done to their car in the name of service, FREE/PAID.The other thing which has come to my notice is their uncanny penchant for declaring a Maruti Genuine Part(MGP) defective and asking the customer to replace it.
In most cases the defect is a figment of the imagination intended to dupe customers with their hard earned money.In most cases the replaced parts are counterfeit products available at the local grey markets, passed off and charged as MGP.I am to believe that a section of the employees in the workshop indulge in this practice keeping the Manager(Workshop) in the dark.
Since their fine print clearly says that there is no guarrantee on the replaced spare parts.the customer has no other option but to accept their loss with a pinch of salt.In my opinion very often the top brass of this company has grossly deficient idea of the ground realities of the going ons inside their workshop(perhaps by unscrupulous employees) and should take firm, prompt and effective corrective action in this era of consumer awareness.
