Intoxication

Ok I didnt want to read all the other reviews so I wouldnt get biased but I guess what they say is true.a prophet is never appreciated in his own country.i mean yes they had to use someone like john abraham for this movie becos he is a sellable name and the idea of the movie is not one that is readily accepted by all.i mean the thought of someone being schitzophrenic is not one that a lot of people will know about.but the fact that a director is bold enough to do a movie like this that he knows is not readily accepted is commendable.

now about the movie, bipashu is a girl who’s sister is killed in the world trade centre bombing and becos of her refusal to accept what had happened in reality her mind created a different world in which she had goons chasing her, and becos the peopel who claimed her sister were terrorists she conjured up john abraham as an anti-terrorist agent.since he was her own creation it was easy to fall in love with him even though she was already engaged to another guy.it is the other guy who goes and transforms himself into he character she has made up in order to help her.

now a lot of people may not undertand this or like it but the truth of the matter is that this disease is a reality and the fact that a mesage was crafted around a love story is just amazing.because u have to believe me when I say I haven’t seen "A BEAUTIFUL MIND" starring russel crowe, but if I hadnt watched madhoshi I would not have known about schitzophrenia.

bipashu bawled me over in the scene where she was in th hospital and aman(joh abraham’s character) had supposedly come to get her and she was limping toward the door with aman as her support.it was brilliant!!i mean it was intense.i didnt even get where the story was going until they said she had schitzophrenia!!i mean until the doctor said it I didnt know!and that is what I like about this movie.it actually surprised me!!!and not many films do that to me.the end of the film was very realistic becos the truth about this disease according to science is that it never really goes away.the people u see in ur head will always come back but it is only if u keep telling yourself that they are not real can u go on to lead a normal life.

all in all I give this movie an eight out of ten.come on people, if u really think about it, its a good movie.
