The Rain Tree at Anna Salai is my favorite restaurant when it comes to authentic South Indian Cuisine. They serve specialties of Kerela, Chettinad, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
The place is well maintained with classy wooden decor. It is a fine dine restaurant and it is maintained like one. The staff here is warm and courteous, they take care of your every need yet they do not hover.
The menu consists some really difficult names that only a South Indian can understand but thankfully they have given a tiny brief about the dish below for a layman like me who doesn’t understand their language.
Some of my favourite dishes here are Pesera Garelu, Chepa Vepudu, Nei Podi Idli and Nandu 65.
This is hands down my favourite restaurant.
