I need a hit ..I think this might be the idea over vijai’s new film ’’MADURAEY’’... I went to theatre with all expectations yesterday ..being a sunday ..it was crowded ..atlas... me and my friend managed to grab 2 tickets... that too in black sales ....luckily tickets were genuine .
Film in its first half revolves around vijay (local boy with good body and slang )and his family(oopps sorry sonia agrawal’s family--you will know it in second half) 2 sis and widow mom ( cast:seetha ) rakshita gets introduced as research student but unluckily falling in love with vijay (named as madhuravel but called as MADURAEY)..there is some fights in first half and masala flavour added with spicy dances from rakshita and another artiste (CHINNA VEEDA VARATHUMAA ...fame artiste).
First half is jus masala mix ...(sad part is that villain has no entry in this half unlike ordinary tamil films in which hero fights with villain in first half and hero killing villain in second half)...second half is with twists and its really fast moving....indeed u can feel it ...(THIS HALF FULLY ACTION PACKED ...so watch carefully for the punches from hero....)hero here says abt his flash back to seetha ....
(READERS REMAIN CALM !!!!till I finish this FLASHBACK:Hero is a collector, he is against pasupathi (villain ) .Villain does all sort of mischiefs especially adulterates all CONSUMER items(rice , sugar, kerosene etc....).......
Hero tries to take control of villain ...but villain plots a plan to kill whole people madurai(location cum collector controlled place)..hero spoils the plan by killing the villain with his own weapon (cell phone tower)at the cost of his P.A sonia agrawal’s death ) seetha understands that her daughter’s death is accidental and adopts vijay as son ... wishes vijay in his future endeavours .....
Infact this film misses important thing :THAT IS LOGIC ??????????
How could people in chennai (first half location )couldnt recognise the collector of MADURAI ...?????
-------Wont they watch TV., news how could seetha jus by seeing the group photo. Recognise vijai as collector responsible for her daughter’s death?????
EVENTHOUGH logic is missing in many places ...film is good with its fast approach in screen play in second half and full action sequences of vijay , masala mix .......it could reach the masses ..
Vijay fan can enjoy it to the core ... for others its enough to watch it once ..so that producer could see some amount in his pocket!!!!!
