Yucky Yuck. Yicky

I have seen quite a few ads involving maggie noodles. As all the kids would have gone through a phase growing up, I had to go through a trauma called ’’Maggie Noodles’’ for breakfast.

My Mom was so hooked to the ad and she was very pleased with the easiness of making maggie noodles. Couldn’t blame her as she was a working woman with time at a premium.

The taste was quite OK for a while. After a while this becomes a little monotonous like aloo sabji or mattar panneer.

I tasted maggie noodles for a while after I grew up too. I was still yet to reover from the original shock. When I was old enough to analyze well, I did some experimentation and still didn’t like it.

What are the Pros?

  1. Well, it is TIME. You can quickly cook your meal in 5 minutes. It definitely takes more than 2 minutes, contrary to what they advertise.

  2. A little bit filling

  3. Cost effective, if you are on a cost saving mode.

Cons:-

  1. The Yuckiness that it carries when you cook.

  2. The spice packet that comes with the noodles is crazily bad to torture your taste-buds. (You are better off with some of your own spices)

  3. The stickiness it carries, when it is cooked with water.

  4. It is a child-abuse/torture tool (Pun intented!!!)

  5. The taste is very bad, even after adding a lot of spices and stuff. You are better off with a good noodles from a chinese restaurant in your city!

My Verdict... Don’t waste your time money and taste-buds...
