MAGNET is one of the best things to happen to MAHIM and with deep empathy for the small time stores that had made big time money.
All the things from a mop to a IPOD under one roof is unbelievable and that too in downtown Miami a.k.a Mahim is a real godsend
My first visit to Magnet was made after a lot of a deliberation and reluctance due to my apparent demophobia but after repeated excursions[I call these visits thus] I settled into a groove, as smug as a rug in a bug!
The attendants are all amicable and trustworthy to the extent of the quality of goods on display their expiry dates what is good and what is not
So many offers on board and so many savings to boot, the myriad options open for the layman and then MAGNET is a Pandoras Box for the wealthy and the less wealthy after all a rich man is nothing but a poor man with money:-)
There are juices, fruit juices, biscuits, CDs, washing powders, Masalas, Papads, Dry fruits, Wet fruits[hehehe], Vegetables [a little stale by evening], TVs, Fridges, Trousers for men and women, Salwars and what not .the list is endless
No nonveg food of the perishable variety over here and thats a pro for some and a con for others but then the pros outnumber the cons
Located in the proximity of Matunga Road station on the western line it is a 5 to 6 minute walk from the station and from the Mahim Station a 5 to 6 minute Taxi Ride and from Lady Jamshedji arterial Road its a 7 minute brisk walk via the KAshi Visheshwara Temple thru to the lane opposite Sandesh restaurant via Karnataka Sangha Hall to the right turn and Voila!
Please visit Magnet for the sheer magnitude of products on display.
Preferably do not visit it on a Sunday cause it is a crowd puller!
