Most exciting place for adventure lovers!!!

My family decided to visit Mahabaleswar this post diwali days. We hired a private vehicle from Panchgani. We were in Pangani previously and spent a day there too. Panchgani is near to Pune and our journey had begun from VT station to Pune. As soon as we reached Panchgani via bus from Pune station we halted there and enjoyed our stay.

Coming to Mahabalehwar I would like to tell more about it’s beauty and sight seeing. November and December are the best months to visit this exciting place.

So I was telling that from Panchgani we hired a private vehicle and it was decided that he will take us to various site seeing points. It took us approx 35 minutes to reach the area of Mahabalehwar and We reached The Echo Point.

It was fun taking names of friends and loved one’s which bounced back from the hills of Mahabaleshwar. I shouted my name which sounded the most sweet of all! SHOOOOOOOOONA shonaaaaaaaaaaaaa ha ha

Then we saw the adjoining points Wilson Point, Arthur’s Seat, Elephant head, Tiger valley or the tigers points, lover’s/suicide point.

All these points had one thing in common and that was their elegant beauty from far. It was really nice to see the far away hills from a mini telescope also known to be binoculars with a minimum charge of 5 to 10 bucks per head.

The most exciting and beautiful point which I felt was "The Needle’s Point" known for it’s beauty and danger it was the most adventurous which I found from all others.

It brought me closer to nature...A thin river flowing away in between to rocky stones (hills) and I was the only one to trek it (it was a walking trek) and I reached the end point of the river and was able to see the remaining hills and felt nature close to my heart.

Although it was dangerous to go there I wont recommend you going there alone. I am a very daring person so it wasnt a problem for me but at the same time I was careful too.

We clicked many pics there and enjoyed our journey..

Even Kate’s point was one of the beautiful sight point for nature lover’s.

Eating tit-bits are easily availabe there so no need to carry your snack bags while you are sight seeing there. Bhel wil double green mirchi is what I enjoyed becoz in such a cool season hot things make you feel more happy!! If you have a sweet tooth there are many gola wala’s selling cool gola’s. But dont miss the Stawberring totting ice-cream the most famous stuff of Mahabaleshwar.

Things to take with you there:

Wear good shoes, take a sweater if u r cold prone, digi cam/ gud cam cell, binoculars, bottle (for filling in the soothing water of tiger valley which was too good)

Dont carry unnecessary stuff be free so that you can trek, climb there and enjoy good sight seeing without getting tired.

Avoid horse riding if u ask me it’s worthless paying 50-60 for one round and being a fool over there but Dont miss the Boating at venna lake and mapro’s factory and store outlet cant be missed at all.

Buy jam’s, marmalades, jellies, squashes from mapro with a 10% discount and also dont miss the food joint of mapro which has Lovely toast sandwiches make in very good quality of their own mapro bread (Aashirwaad aate ki bani soft scrumptous bread) you cant miss them yaar!

Dont forget to have ice-creams there and do enjoy the sight of how they make those warm cones in front of you wow! hot cones cold scoop that’s the speciality of Mapro icecreams.

Plan your trio to Mahabaleshwar this december then!!
