I along with my husband visited Mahabaleshwar in the month of october end. Its a beautiful place to visit. It is approximately 120 kms from pune( where we live) depends on where u reside. It is a best place for nature lovers. There are various view points like elephant head point, Arther’s point, Lodwick point, etc. which gives a beautiful scenic view of the place. All the view points are quite far from each other, it is not possible to cover all the points in a single day so one must plan to visit this place for 2-3 days atleast. Also, the points can be accessed via vehicles upto a certain distance rest you have to walk on foot. So, its a best place for people who loves trekking. You can also enjoy horse riding at some points. Another attraction is Mahabaleshwar market where you can enjoy shopping and various fun activities and games. It is best to take your own vehicle or hire a vehicle from pune to visit this place otherwise you could face transportation issues.
