Dear consumer who r mtnl subscriber or think to buy new connection of mtnl cellular serice(dont dare think to get new connection) thinking y I am writing this rewiev on mtnl which is cheap and affordable but this services is cheapest in quality and unaffordable . now many parts of mumbai dolphin /trump may have full network signal but dont think network is good it is just a dummy signal u will not recieve calls many times or u will not able to make calls it will show opposite person is busy, even u receive a call (it is replys belive or not thing) ur voice will crack or u will listen cracking voice u will think cracker r brusting in the phone(but diwali to nahi hai to awaaz kaha se aarahi hai) it our mtnl service , they dont have any value added service like gprs(which do not work in many and many parts of mumbai) caller tunes , and any service which pvt operatoes provides,
on 6/1/06 the cell info dispaly (which shows ur area on ur phone) is switched off till after ten days its still not working (as it is compulsorty for cellular service provider to have cell info display facility as per TRAI orders)
many things to tell u if tell my personal exerince on this servce this rewieve will very big so guys and girls think twice thrice and into 100 times when getting new mtnl conncetion

new rewiew dt: 8/2/06 dear mumbai also those who r using mtnl most frustratin dolphin/trump services u will note that u will have great noise cracking and low signals and very very poor outgoing and incoming calls during day time becoz mtnl has issued tooooooooooooooooo many lines to public in the name of cheap service but these b dont have ethics atleast plant more bts towers so signal will be there. new thing is that now the cell info display which shows area where the mobile person is standing and this also has been closed and it is realllllllly funny these cell info display some times shows very funnt things like if ur standing near nariman point u ur mobile will show charni road cell info many thing like this, in delhi many many new schems has been inrouudce fo dolphin post paid but not in mumbai. god knows what they are dong
