I recently visited to the newly renovated Maharaja restaurant which is now named "Swathi Maharaja". It is based in Bangalore. I went with some office colleagues for lunch. I liked the ambiance out there. You can see decent crowd and soothing hindi instrumental music at the background. We ordered for 3 large Mutton biryanis, fresh lime soda salt and my friends ordered for lime soda sweet and salt. The started included hot and sour chicken soup which was really tasty and met our expectations.They also serve good mini meals.
The mutton was cooked well but wasn’t cleaned properly in one of my friend’s food, which was a turn off. Other than this, the taste was good and different than what other restaurants offer. The staff was quite helpful and attentive to our requests. I love the way the restaurant has been revamped and decorated. It gives an authentic look as compared to the previous one. The price is quite reasonable as per the quantity and quality.
Recommended for families, large groups and friends.
