I’m from pune. And for those who don’t know, pune has a 3 hrs power shut (load shedding) everyday except a day or two (when we are lucky).
They have a fixed timing for each area and they shut power and resume it sharp on time.. mostly. other than this, they shut power at will without notice. its so frustrating when the max temperature is 39º C and you have office at 8 am the next morning when there is no electricity throughout the night, till the next evening.
When you try calling the local MSEB office, they say that they don’t know about it and would take it as a complaint and get back.. Every night suddenly the power is shut. And it comes back when we pray the hardest.. not to MSEB to GOD.
Then they put up a so called call centre, where they put a English speaking guy, who makes you feel that you are the most prestigious customer and takes the same complaint with a complaint no. (this no. cannot be reached if you dial from a mobile. its only for BSNL subscribers.) Then the linemen come and they try and try to get us all connected and then - its their time off and so you are stranded till the next day until another team comes and tries their best.
And the govt. wants to build an international airport in Pune.. God save the flights if the runway goes out of electricity!
I have just expressed my frustration about our only source of power - MSEB.
