I am talking about one of the best Engineering colleges of Haryana i.e Mullana Engg. College.I have completed my MCA from this college in 2004. At first glance if one looks at the Campus and the infrastructure he would be attracted to get the admission but all this attraction fades out within no time.
First day at college and you are very excited about your Post Graduation’s first lecture. And it goes in vain. The same thing happens for the entire day.None of the lectures know anything even they cannot speak one complete sentence in English.
All the teachers were students of the same college at some time and since they did not get job anywhere else they work in the college for as low as 5000 per month.Such a disguised Unemployment.
The Hostel is good but the food is pathetic.No electricity during the day and hence one has to attend those stupid and meaningless lectures.Actually it is a One man show--The Chairman who is running an Educational Institution and is Illiterate himself.I once happened to visit his office personally and there I was shocked at the way he talks to his teachers(all those ****ing words).He is a dictator.
And then comes the Diwali time when only one working day is kept in between deliberately.When enquired we were told that the chairman has to buy some buses and a new car for his use.I didn’t get at first but when I returned after Diwali I had to pay Rs.1000 as fine which is a normal trend of not attending that particular day.
Imagine a college of around 3500 students and how much fund can he collect for one day.And if one is involved in any fight in the college he has to sign a minimum bond of 1.5 lakhs which can be encashed on your next mistake.
And he wants to make the college a Deemed University!
Guys beware of this college otherwise you will have to repent on your education!!!
