Mahatma Gandhi was born 2 October 1869 at Porbandar in Gujarat . His father was the Dewan of Rajkot State. His mother was Putlibai . Gandhi maaried Kasturba when he was only 12 . After passing his matriculation examination in 1887, he went to England to study law. He came back to India after he become a barrister. mahatma Gandhi went to south Africa to fight against injustice being done to the Indians.After winning the battle in south Africa, he returned to India .Gandhiji joined the freedom struggle .he started a non-cooperation Movement against the British.
