Its a sunday morning and generally I am not a mornings person on sundays ..but this sunday was special.I was going to get myself behind the wheels of a Bolero ..and break free en route to matheran and back on a one day trip.
The first impression is defenitely the looks.Those grils in the front almost gives the bolero the looks of a growling tiger , showing off his pearly whites..as if warning you not to try to get too close to him.The stripes this tiger models are definitely unique.The interiors are bare minimum and nothing that can be written home about.But..wait , dont let your hopes down until you sit down to tame this beast.
The Bolero is pure male testosterone loaded and not something , that you would want to drive along with your girlfriend or wife into a sunset.No ! ladies and gentlemen ...his looks are not once deceptive..he is all brawn and growling.You gun the engines and he responds like a wild stallion and rears itself up.
The four stroke engine is not all that good and he does not get a chance to prove his mettle till we reach the fringe borders of matheran.The winding roads start and this is where all the sheer power packed in the vehicle unleash.Its the sheer pleasure of taming all that manhood and the feeling of power that encapsulates you ..which drives me into my thrills.
This MUV is definitely my cup of tea till now and now I get confident of driving it anywhere.Maybe slightly over confident.I take a shot of adrenaline into my system and drive this beast off roads.
Woah! ...was it a ride or what..the radial tyres stick on to the dusty road and he climbs every hillock like a piece of cake.No road seems enough to tire this beast and the rougher I handle the beast , the more it enjoys itself.
If you have been driving a bolero for a day and have not managed to get your windshielf dusty by evening , then I dont think a bolero is something that you might enjoy very much.
The MAHINDRA BOLERO is purely a testosterone thrill that can be had during your week end trip to the farmhouse.It is no thrill riding such a magnificient beast in a city like mumbai.
Mahindra bolero is a great buy as a week end relaxation beast to beat out all the frustrations of a long and stressful office environment....
