Is it a car? Is it a truck? I have yet to find out. But let me tell you that a Mahindra has a heart and a character in that nothing looks like it and runs like it.
As it is simply the open air marvel. A ’’Javan Dil Gaadi’’ if you have a young heart. And if you dont have, it will make it. The medicine is simple - get a mahindra with soft top. Dont use the top - remove it. Just let the windscreen be there.
First gear - it thrusts ahead without even accelerator with the diesel engine rumble. Vrooom. Your heart disease is gone. Bypass is not required. Blood thrusts in your veins as the Mahindra pushes ahead. And your Mahindra is real thirsty.
Now I know what vrooooom means. No dictionary required. Just a Mahindra MM540 with open roof. Just zoom and zoom and zoom.
Okay! Okay! stop here. Can anything be that great? No. Not even Mahindra. The Mahindra is a truck and not a car. Please pardon me Mahindra if you are reading it. But I like your truck. Like because of these reasons-
1- It goes anywhere.
2- It is taller than anything except a truck/bus.
3- It is raw and thirsty.
4- It is beautiful - Paint the vehicle Black, Red, Blue, Green, Purple. The town follows it.
But then again can anything be that great? Certainly not. Mahindra is a tad tough to park. Especially when you know that those new 1500cc beauties can be easily damaged by your Mahindra in a flick! You are careful. Not about Mahindra - but the vehicles overtaking you. I used to feel pity of these esteems overtaking me close. Why - A simple touch and a dent on esteem. A flick on your Mahindra.
And it runs well and warm. Not too hot. Not too cold.
But can anything be that great?
No. At least Mahindra is not. Why? Suspension is stiff. Sounds diesel rumble (I like it). Needs water (ouch).
And who wants it? Let me try-
1) You are hungry for power and accesibility to places.
2) You want to feel tall and look down upon those cars!
3) You want the feeling of Javan Dil (young heart - forever young). Mahindra makes you younger and keeps you below 30.
4) You like vroooom!
5) You like beauty.
And who doesnt need one?
1) Who wants a cosy small suffocating car.
2) Who wants a car leading nowhere.
3) Who wants a plastic car.
But than is anything really that great?
I dont know but then if asked if I want to drive a four wheeler, I want a Mahindra.
