Hi All,
One observation I had regarding the Mahindra Renault Logan, the boot has to be manually opened from the back with the car key provided. There is no control to open the boot from the driver seat. The fuel inlet window is on the right side, i.e. at the driver’s seat side, where as almost all the Indian cars the fuel inlet is on the rear left side.
I did a test drive for 1.6 Gasoline but did not find sufficient enough horse power as compare to other cars falling in segment - C. Need to do a personal testing by having at least 3-4 test drives with different cars in one day.
Second observation is that I found the front bumper and radiator design made of plastic is very flexible and is of low quality and ready for wear and tear for even at small shocks. You can surely have a look and comments are welcome.
Amazing thing about the Air bags for high end models, where the story is kept hidden, they say Air bags on top end models, but not in details. It has only One Air bag provided on the driver seat and no Air bag on the front side seat. Ask question and then only you will be answered.
One thing which I liked is the car body units are patched with many nuts and bolts then the joined seals which helps in easy replacement of the dented body due to minor accidents.
In spite of all this I still comprise on the things which are coming to my mind and planning to go a head to get Logan, just because internal heart claims for me to do so.
