In Mahindra Satyam only Tamils dominate, so if you are non-tamilian and performer avoid this company, many groups within Mahindra Satyam having Tamils at the top are encouraging only tamils to grow and thrive in the company. The system gets so worse that few HR people tendered resignation owing to this mal-practice. The system is so rotten that for whole account or group top 2 or 3 will be Tamils and they dictate as per their wishes I quit the company couple of months back. I was team lead and while filling up resources they only give me Tamil resumes if I reject due to merit then they will conduct their own interview (3 or 4 Tamils interviewing a Tamil resource) and preferred language too is Tamil. I hope Mahindra Satyam fix this regional feelings else it will meet the same fate as HCL where even engineering and technical discussions and meetings are held in Tamil, In HCL, only Tamils will be favored and given thick packages than non-Tamils during appraisals.
I urge all non-Tamils to stay away from Engineering Services Jobs- Design / Engineering/ CAD/CAM/Manufacturing/Simulations like FEA/CFD any location any client. Please join some good companies who are hard core engineering than Satyam, more over the slightly smaller package will be matched by PROFESSIONAL management (Better than Tamil ONLY management).
Mahindra Satyam is actually a good company, but these issues are to ironed out to make the company better. Apart from this unwanted issue the company is OK. Tamils are killing multicultural value of the company in big way and may spell big problems in future. Like the heading goes, the company is totally fit for Tamils only (By Tamils For Tamils & Of the Tamils)
