I purchased an Scorpio Special Edition car from G3 Motors in Navi Mumbai around 5 months back. Just did my first servicing and the car is running great.
Good
a. Excellent tech features like bluetooth connectivity, extensive media support (usb, sd card, ipods)
b. The Hybrid model really "works"....though I noticed it works more frequently after the initial run of 5K. Switches the engine off when you wait at signals, thereby saving diesel.
c. Rear parking sensors
d. Intelligent wipers (switches on automatically when it rains), Intelligent lights (switches on automatically when you enter a tunnel)
e. Cruise control (though I havent had a chance to use it yet)
f. Very very powerful engine...runs like a dream on highways and open roads
Bad
a. Lousy service from G3 Motors, didnt deliver on committed date/ time
b. I had to visit the RTO for registration (due to some rule) and after spending one day, realized the work got done without my involvement at all
c. Car was delivered without the license plates....then some bright chap delivered it BUT didnt fix it....I had to find some car mechanic to screw the plate since the holes on plate were not in alingment.
d. Waited like 1 month to get my registration card from the RTO and had to follow up with them.
e. The driver seat hand rest comes in way of putting the seat belts...they need to be raised every time.
f. The "roll" of the car....it sways like crazy when you go through some ditch or pothole.
I wrote to Mahindra as well about my experience in their CSAT form, but NO response from them. Finally a person called from G3 and said he would be personally responsible for any requirement I have....but its a sad case of something good happening too late.
