TUV or Tank

Hey friends,

I wanna share my hands on experience with you about mahindra TUV 300.

The first impression is not so gud with this vehicle.

If you look it from front its not appealing but if you look it from rear it looks impressive with that spare tyre fitted wrighty on the back door.

Things get impressive when u enter the cabin, its spacious and you get right equipment.

It comes with 1500cc motor which produces 84 BHP of power which is quite a let down for a vehicle of this much weight and you feel the same when you start driving the vehicle and above that its having 3 cylinders.

No doubt that the vehicle has ample space inside but there are few things which bothers you like the switches for window glasses are situated near the gear lever which is a pretty awkward place to operate from.

Secondly the gear lever is so big that it gives you a feeling as if you are driving a truck.

As soon as you get behind the wheels you notice the lack of power in the vehicle. Being a rear wheel drive and less BHP allows vibrations to creep in. There are vibrations when you are driving the TUV 300 and you can feel them beneath your driving seat too.

If we talk about the exterior its okkkk.

The 16 wheels seems dwarf in front of such a big boxy body. If we compare this vehicle with a price tag of 9 lakh rupees with FORD ECOSPORT then its no where near it.

Spending 9 lakh rupees on such a vehicle which is under power, having vibrations and only cylinder engine is waste of money . Explore the market and you will get lot many options like FORD ECOSPORT OR MARUTI VITARA BREEZA.
