The Mahindra XUV500 AT W10 AWD is a new variant in this series. The car has been designed on the same template as the previous edition, but a notable change is the automatic transmission it now gets. Its power plant is the same 2.2-litre oil-burner, but it is now being mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox sourced fromAisin. Aside from this, the interior remains relatively unchanged. The premium layout of the cabin includes a beige and black interior atmosphere, which leaves the area refreshed. The electric sunroof is a highlight of the cabins delights, for it relieves the feeling of being confined in a vehicle. Aside from this, the spacious area has been integrated with many functional aspects, from adjustable seats with headrests to a touchscreen entertainment system. A reverse parking camera makes for safety in addition to comfort, and this comes along with an advanced Intellipark system. Power windows make for a more relaxed experience, along with a remote tailgate opening feature, a remote central locking feature, reading lamps, three mobile charging points, illuminated key rings and a glovebox with a laptop holder. For improved security, there is a rear wash and wipe system, a rear demister, an entry assist lamp, a door ajar lamp. The SUVs magnificent sculpture makes for a splendid feel. The menace exuded by its large build is accentuated by the presence of slender lines by the side, a wider hood and an overall shape that promotes aerodynamics. No change is registered for the new variant.
