I bought a brand new XUV5OO W4 in 2016 March first week.
Earlier I was planning to buy the compact SUV Duster RXL, but after doing test drive with XUV5OO, my mindset got completely changed. With an extra extra 1.25lakh I will get a real SUV with 7 seat instead of the 5 seater Duster and I booked XUV5OO W4.
I got the car early this month and had done around 3000Km within this time being. It’s fantastic car with great style, power and more over its cost effective.
The base model itself is equipped with most of the features which other cars provide only in their high end versions. This latest W4 model also had a nice 6 inch infotainment display.
The steering and gear is much good and I didn’t even felt that I am driving a big car. We will really enjoy ride in the driver’s seat.
Getting into the Second row seats, there I felt like it is a premium passengers car. No worries and tension at any bad roads and at any speed. Feels much calm and safer there, and it had a large legroom even to keep an airport bag beside my leg.
In the last row seats, the sitting space is good for 2 adults and travelling comfort is also good but the legroom is bit smaller and I felt like it’s for persons below 5ft. I am 6ft taller so I thought the second row seats can be moved front wise to provide some more legroom there, but the second row seats can’t be moved. Mahindra willingly or unwillingly missed it, but it was needed.
AC was good in all the 3 row seats even in this hotter days. I confirm it was a good buy.
