I have been using Scorpio for the past 4.5 years and test driven Xylo twice and here are my observations (as compared to Scorpio 2.6 DX):
**Pros (Xylo E8):**
* For the price on offer, Xylo has lot more features than a Scorpio
* Engine is less noicy and more powerful
* Gives about 40% more mileage, even in the city (demonstrated during the test drive)
* Clutch is much smoother and softer
* IntelliPark Assist for reversing and parking
* Has DDAS, provides a lot of useful information, including mileage at the current instant/speed
* Has Tilt Steering
* Has Alloy Wheels
* Seats are lot more comfortable (top end model also has 3 position Lumbar Support)
* Suspension on the rear wheels is really smooth and absorbing
* Comes with Tubeless Tyres
* Surround Dual A/C overhead is great and a lot more powerful
* Music system and accoustics are beyond comparison
* Folding the seats in the middle and last rows is lot easier
* Space is a lot more, particularly in the middle and last rows
* Space utilization is terrific, they did not leave a single square inch also unutilized
* Has better (than Scorpio) luggage space behind and below the last row of seats (demonstrated in the showroom with two large bags and medium sized suitcases, all packed in without abstructing the rear door)
**Cons:**
* Power steering seems little harder at low speeds
* Height of the seats is probably a little less than Scorpio (of course almost as good as Scorpio)
* Less rugged and Less heavy (trade off with better mileage though)
* Cant see the boundary of the Bonnet in the front, so need a little guess work to drive (got out of practice after getting in to a scorpio, but the same usual with most of the other automobiles on road)
* **Looks less aggressive**I got flat on it, booked it and waiting to see myself as a proud owner soon :)
