Main Hoon Na is one of the wierdest movies ever seen by me. By the time I have finished writing this, probably every hindi cine goer reading this would have already watched the movie. So I guess there is no need for me to reveal the story plot or repeat anything again.
The main thing I like about the movie was the fact that farah khan (or was it shahrukh directing) gave the twist in the rite time. You see rite from the initial stunt which if had taken more time(there was scope for that), the audience would have felt ’’kaun hain yaha?’’.
A movie made , understanding the pulse of the avergae movie watcher, probably urban ppl(the high iq ppl who prefer seabiscuit to gladiator) would have felt a little uneasy watching the movie. After all rite from the beginning everything sounds coincidental (lucky and sanjana in the same place, etc).
But who cares.........then comes the college scenes...........pizza hut...........low skirts...........cliched teachers.......etc. Then theres the evergreen student lucky with sanjana (kuch kuch kajol jaisa).
Then the usual twists, turns, rickshaws, tears.not to forget the matrix spoof all jelled together along with songs provide u an enjoyable experience, provided u dont try to reason out every scene. Indian cinema is a religion. Place faith on it, never try to find reason for everything on screen.
