The VerdicT
After reading all the reviews on Mouthshut.com , my interest in this film came to an end.But still with a heavy hurt , I went to the theatre expecting least from the film.I could still see the crowd with a thirst of getting the tickets.Everyone in the crowd was expecting the same magic from a Rajshri Film and so was I.
I entered the theatre and the film started . It all starts with the last day of the college and the Girls with attitude come into the scene .They start talking about marriage and all those girly things in front of the audience..all blabbing that they have the right to choose their own guy and all.The dance is pathetic.The first song makes you leave the theatre and puke in the toilet. Ok now the home starts getting ready to welcome PREM1 who works in the company of PREM2.PREM1 fells in love with SANJANA.The mom and dad are very happy until an e-mail is received from america that PREM couldnt come because his flight was delayed so he would come within 2-3 days.Now mom and dad panic since they had allowed SANJANA to go out at nights with the wrong PREM.Then the PREM2 enters.He is sweet, innocent, he doesnt know how to cycle, He never talked with girls..(pure creature)..Sanjana teaches him all that PREM1 had taught her. SANJANA thinks that PREM2 is just her friend and PREM1 was her yet-to-be-husband.But when mom tells SANJANA that she has to forget the ol done and start liking the new PREM because he has got better financial status than PREM1.Sanjana cannot do this because she is in love with PREM1.So when PREM1 comes to know that his Boss PREM2 wants to marry SANJANA, he sacrifices and leaves from the house .On the day of SAGAI, PREM1 comes in with flowers to congratulate SANJANA.but sanjana is very angry.She slaps PREM1 because he didnot come to save her from getting married.Now PREM2 is very pathetic guy who allows such a beautiful girl go back to PREM1.Then the movie ends like this:
KAREENA and HRITHIK are having SEX(...wow..)...such a memorable ending!!!
THE FILM
SURAJ is not at all good at creating new generation films.He puts a little bit of college and sex just to make it look trendy.The first half is intended to make the viewer laugh.The real film starts from the second half.I would like to congrat Barjatya on making the second half straight.He doesnot push the film too looooooooong .He just makes it short and simple and captures the emotions very nicely.The only thing to look out in this film are the emotional scenes and the romantic scenes which are well done.
Inside It All
The best scenes include:
1.When Hrithik enters the home and Sanjana acts wierd and sings a bhajan for him.
2.Hrithik taking kareena to a flower-shop and when they are going to return, They see a couple making love in the ’’peeche waali’’ car.Hrithik puts on the radio and the songs are so funny ..This was the only scene that made me laugh.
3.Abhishek’s entrance received some good whistles form the crowd.
4.The scene in the woods where Kareena comes to take Hrithik back is nicely picturised.
5.The club in which HRITHIK wins all the games and gets tattoed for KAreena is another rememberable scene.
The Songs
1.Kasam Ki Kasam is my favourite song and is picturised very nicely .Kareena takes the song to her acting and doesn an excellent in her emotions int hsi song.A must lookout.
2.Aur mohabbat Hai is another nice song.especially the starting.
3.O Ajnabi also picturised well in the woods.
THE MISTAKES
1.There is not place as beautiful as Sunder nagar , not even J&K.The whole place is some foreign location.PATHETIC. 2.The starting is not at all good.Terrible.
3.No suspense or thing, The viewer knows ’’Kareena kisko milegi’’
4.The film doesnot tell you the past of PREM 1 .i.e. Hrithik.The viewer keeps guessing who the hell he is and why is he here?
5.Barjatya could do without the new thing ’’SEX’’
The Characters
Hrithik:Overacts in the first half and improves later. Kareena:The Gem Of The Film.
Abhishek:Couldnt get much of him, short role but worth watching for.
If you got to the theatre taking this movie as a normal film, you will like it.But if you take it as another blockbuster from Barjatya, you will be disappointed.Worth watching for once and once only.
