IRRITATING CUSTOMER SERVICE BY MAKE MY TRIP.COM

I always prefer make my trip for any booking.they always have great offer and deals.


there interface is really good. the worst part is there customer care.they always busy when ever we try to call, it take at least half an hour to reach them but booking is reliable and can trusted.I am using this website from last 2 years.


this time I cancelled one domestic ticket before one week of travel. Inspite of refunding my money they  are asking about stamped document. I talked with AIR INDIA customer care they said that full amount is to be refunded but due to the carelessness of make my trip I am loosing my money. Its not about money its all about service.


BOOKING ID  was NF2203648228588 from RAIPUR to DELHI & DELHI to RAIPUR for the date 10th march 2015 & 15th march 2015. I cancelled one side ticket because I have to take International flight from Delhi to China on the same date and the duration between both the flights is only 1 hour. As I have to clear immigration and all check-ins a Delhi Airport I don’t have that much time because its a lengthy process and the flights are also not connecting flights therefore I cancelled one side ticket and made new ticket which is connecting to my next international flights.


Hence MAKE MY TRIP must have to refund my money for one side ticket cancelled but they are not paying to it.


ITS TOTALLY IRRITABLE AND FRUSTATED SERVICE FROM THEM.

Dear Murariagrawal,We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team/Airline and found that on 07-Mar-15, passenger selected special claim option " Flight Delayed or Preponed " to cancel his booking on our website. Post receiving this cancellation request, we have informed passenger that since cancellation request is made under special claim option, so we will verify details with the airline and then process refund accordingly and tat of 3 working days was shared. Post checking details with the airline, we have found that flight was operational and there were no changes/cancellation made by airline on the booking, hence passenger is not eligible for a full refund and that is why our executive asked for a stamped airline document, so that full refund can be claimed on the tickets. Please note that since this is a voluntary cancellation done by passenger, so we are charging INR 1579.00 as airline cancellation penalty( As per Airline Fare Rule/Same penalty quoted on the E-ticket). As a customer service gesture we have waived off MMT service fee of INR 400.00 on the booking. We are initiating refund for INR 479.00 from our end on 22-Apr-15 and same should reflect in your account as per your bank processing cycle. We thank you for contacting us.
