Friends,

I wanted to write a review on this kerala’s most famous (infamous according to me) news paper for quite a long time. And now I have found some time for that; I take this as a social service as a very responsible citizen.

A writeup without any heading will be boring. So I’ll try to put one, the best suited according to my creative thinking. I will be taking to you as if I’m the paper.

Manorama Yellow Pages

an autobiography

Dear readers,

I don’t think I need to introduce myself to you. I am supposed to be India’s most read newspaper. I don’t like taking too much unless and otherwise it’s of no use to me. So I’ll put my features in bullets.

1. No social responsibility (The reason is that I am not interested in other’s business unless and otherwise it’s affecting me)

   
   




2. Handles masala stories very well and very creative in this area

   
   




3. Has got solutions for each and every thing (For eg. I one day publised in our news paper where Mr. Bin Laden is with a neat diagram of Torabora hills)

   
   




4. Rape cases are my favourite and I’ll put my 100% imagination in that.

   
   




5. Inventive thinking. ISRO spy case is just one to mention.

   
   




6. I make sure that when readers read my stuff, they will be in the seventh heaven. I try to handle things very sensually.

   
   




7. I will try to make sure that if yellow has a better name, that’s Malayala Manorama.

   
   




8. I react furiously if someone talks against Soniaji or Sachin.

   
   




9. I will make sure every time that all my methrappollitha buddies are happy.

   
   




10. I don’t know anything about sister Abhya case

    
    




11. I am more interested in sensual stories than social responsibility

    
    




12. I swear I don’t know what the hell is social responsibility

    
    




13. In sports page, I’ll make sure that all the readers will get food for their day

    
    




14. All the news will be covered with no substance and misleading facts

Guys, it’s high time to expose them in public. I don’t know why such a literate group of people is standing this insult against their whole community. I agree that Malayala Manorama is good for its classifieds. But they tend to forget their primary responsibility as a national daily. If required, they can change this paper from national daily category to yellow pages category. Then it makes some sense. And the news they can put in another masala publication targeting those people. Please don’t get into their trap of sensual marketing. Reject these irresponsible idiots.
