Economy flight, Phuket to Kuala Lumpur to Heathrow. (I had made the outward leg from London to Phuket on Singapore, but neither they nor Thai could fit me in at the time I wanted to return so Malaysian was my third choice, and in that I think I did them an injustice.) Flying is flying and airlines seem to be getting very samey (or is it just me getting older?) and "the experience" much the same, unless, of course, you encounter problems. I found nothing to fault on this journey except that the personal-emtertainment handset didnt work on the looooong KL-LHR leg, fortunately the seat beside me was vacant. si I could use it The flight s were up to time, the food was good, the attendants helpful, and the legroom in economy was appreciated.
Im a big chap and really needed the bit of extra room (a couple of inches) over Singapores economy class. If its betwen those two airlines in future and Im paying an economy fare, itll be Malaysian. KL International Airport was an eye-opener too.
