I travelled to Malda many times in my lifetime as it holds significant importance in Wrst Bengal’s growth.
But throughout these years safety especially women safety has become a big issue in the state as frequent stories of women molestation can be heard here.
I also noticed in certain parts of the district has communal unrest mainly between hindus and muslims.
Malda can be easily reached from every parts of the country and had few places like the Malda museum, Baroduari mosque, etc are worth a visit.
Accommodation can be a problem for some as Malda does not have any high quality of hotels.
