Malli raava is a Telugu film, starring Sumanth in the lead role hit the screens without any expectations. Actor Sumanth though having good acting skills didn’t choose good stories and as a result of that has to taste many failures in his career. But this time Sumanth came with a new kind of love story under the direction of Gautam. Let’s see what the movie consist of.
STORY LINE: Karthik ( Sumanth ) and Anjali ( Akanksha Singh ) fall in love. As a part of the love story they come across many emotions cum misunderstandings. Every time they get closer in the emotion of love there arises a problem between them and it happens at different stages of their life. How do they face those situations and whether they have finally United in their life for a lovable future or not is the rest of the story. The entire story revolves around the point that whether it is the understanding or the ego which plays a major role in our love life. Both Karthik and Anjali meet at three different stages of their life and the story Goes On in 1999, 2012 and 2017. All the three stages of their love story runs parallely in the movie.
POSITIVE POINTS:
The screenplay of the movie is one of the biggest asset.
The parallel picturisation of three different time stories is quite interesting.
The cute love story is another plus for the movie.
The love scenes involved good emotions with deep meaning.
Most of the dialogues were heart touching and feel good.
The chemistry between the lead pair is also cute.
The narration was superb.
The comedy scenes between Hero and his colleagues were quite good.
NEGATIVE POINTS:
The narration is a little bit slow and Dull.
The teenage love story was a little bit boring.
Lack of action scenes and comedy disappoints a little bit.
No element of entertainment for mass audience.
PERFORMANCE: Actor Sumanth has given his career best performance and he proves that he suits better in the love stories. Actress Akanksha Singh has done a cute and impressive acting. All other actors have given their best in creating fun in the movie.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS: The production values were of high quality. The locations and casting work was superb. The artwork was also very much apt as per the love story. The costumes designed for the lead pair in different stages of the movie was quite impressive. Music by Shravan Bhardwaj was cool and impressive, the main song of the movie Malli raava is going to be one of the sweetest song in Telugu film industry.
DIRECTION: Director Gautham has done superb job in picturising the film. The way he narrated the story is interesting and heart touching. He succeeded introducing the realistic emotions in the movie. He has been made every scene of the movie in a realistic way. We can witness the care, the director has taken in writing dialogues correctly matching with the story line. Overall, Malli raava is a cute and romantic love story involving hidden emotion and heart touching feeling. People in love will definitely enjoy this movie and they should not miss this. But the mass audience will be disappointed as there are almost No Mas elements in the movie. It is one of the best feel good movies game this year.
