I had stepped into this hotel without booking it earlier .The reception manager and attendant had taken us to a room that was room no 5 in this hotel .But at night we realised the door of the room can not be locked from inside .The clasp was defunct and defective and we had paid earlier .In the evening we informed them as we were not in the hotel throughout the day after checking in the morning .We told them to get the door clasp repaired but they could not .They did not have any room vacant .At 10-30 there was no water in the bathroom .We called them and asked them to start or switch on the pump machine but they did not pay much attention .At least after being told five times they switched on the pump .The hotel room was full of ants at the bed and flies in the room .We told them repeatedly to spray insecticides but they said they had no insecticides .They did not ask whether we wanted to have bed tea or not .The bathrooms commode was defective and with bad sanitation .So it was stinking after every use .The room window had no big curtain .The room was full of dust after a few hours as sand and dust always get or sneak into the room .The TV had only 10 channels .The hotel bartenders never knocked at the door and offered bottle of water .They sent it after being informed to send at least after three times every time .I share my irritating but true experience .Already you have gotten a good deal of idea about this renowned but substandard hotel .Please don’t blunder to lodge here .
