Malwarebytes is quite light. Although it hasn’t caught any virus for me - like other anti-viruses, the software did block certain websites and told me they might have malware. It helps me feel more secure surfing the internet, knowing if there is a suspicious site, Malwarebytes will block it for me.
I do use Malwarebytes alongside another light anti-virus for extra security by the way. In the day and age which we pay money through the internet and access our bank’s information online, I think security is a must.
