Pure Love

Mama I’m Coming Home is probably the best power ballad ever written by Ozzy. It is said that man best expresses his feeling for the one he loves through the power of words and trust me, Ozzy has this power. Mama I’m Coming Home was actually written for his wife. He used to call Sharon up at the end of a tour and say ’’Mama I’m Coming Home’’. Sharon liked the song so much that she convinced ozzy to add it to his album and it became an instant commercial hit. I have personally played this song for my girl and she flipped big time.

With lines such as Took me in and you drove me out Yeah, you had me hypnotized Lost and found and turned around By the fire in your eyes ozzy expressed his inner most feelings for sharon (his wife). Written with the late Randy Rhoads, the song has a mind blowing plecking intro and moves into a classical metal song that is a signature style of Randy Rhoads. I am sure that the people who have listened to this song will agree with me that the song is a master piece and u can never get tired of this number. The song is featured in many albums such as Live and Loud, The Ozzman Cometh and most the most recently released Live at Budokan. If you get a chance try and listen to this number.
