This show is one of the few shows that I started to watch in my childhood and I am still watching this even today. The places shown on this show are always interesting and sometimes very difficult too and it is exciting to see how Bear Grylls can survive and the frugal life one faces at those extreme places.
I was always amazed by the type of food he takes in deserts, rainforests or mountains. Ranging from insects, plants, to anything that is edible. The plot is very usual there is a guy who is alone in a frugal place in a random part of the world, and he has to somehow survive a week until he gets access to a human habitat.
Man vs Wild has enough substance in it that makes it worth watching over other shows since you come to know more about the different parts of the world.
