Management Information System by Mcleod

This book is most recommended book fro understanding subject MIS for students pursuing MBA.The book is very clear , descriptive and easy to understand with its friendly tone.

The book takes you for the journey of exploring the importance of Information Technology in day-to-day tasks of running a organisation. There are several cases at the end of the chapter which makes the learning even better. There are many company based cases, where our whole MBA(marketing) class at IMT Ghaziabad would wholeheartedly participate.

I can recall that taking the reference from chapter 3 and based on the guidelines mentioned n the chapter one of our classmate(employee of Newton Technologies) explained in detail , how are records auto-scanned, cheque scanned and documented without the intervention of human-eyes at any stage.

The book balances balances out its core competency of explaining MIS with the Ethical nature of the business.

In conclusion , I would recommend this book for getting insight into working of a MIS/Management Trainee.
