I visited Manali in the end of january. We booked a volvo bus from delhi to manali. It was a long twelve hour journey but we were very excited as I have never travellled to a hill station before. First day we went to Kasol which is a nearby town and at the end of the day we travelled to manali. We were lucky that the weather was clear and it was easy to move around manali as there was little snow on the lower part of manali and the most famous places of manali like the hadimba temple, vashistha temple and jogni falls were easy to reach as these places are placed on high places and you have to climb a lot to get there and having snow on the tracks would have made it nearly impossible to reach to. Fortunately Solan valley was also open for the public as roads were safe enough for vehicles to move. We had an amazing trip and we are planning to go there again in June.
