’Mandi’ in hindi means a market place while in Malayalam, it means ’a mad girl’ or ’pagal ladki’.
Food is good at Mandi but slightly expensive than 24th Main, which is also a good hotel nearby. Parking space is limited but Valet parking is available at Mandi. Inside of hotel is quite innovative and spacious. I have seen many groups taking photographs together inside Mandi as the background gives a very good photo.
However, if you are a girl and have Malayalee friends, avoid taking photo in front of the hotel as it will label you as ’Pagal ladki’ :-). If you do take photograph there, avoid using it as your facebook profile.
