it provides a virus free atmosphere to the user, you have to never think about anti - virus programs while using Linux, when I was not an Linux user bored of windows, the daily hanging of the systems, those paying 3500 for the damn CD of windows or 50 bucks for the pirated one and never using Microsoft update due the fear pf being tracked as pirated and next morning running to the computer dealer for a format and new windows installation. Coz windows get blocked as soon as Microsoft finds out you are using pirated edition. No problems with Linux...
