Lot of people says that Aamir has made Lagaan but this movie proves that ashutosh plays a big role in making of Lagaan becaus this MANGAL PANDEY is much more boooooooring than SWADES.
Iam not telling you a plot because tiping is boring for me but I give u conclusioon
MAy be multiplex audience like this movie or die g=hard aamir khan fans may like it but I thought that most of the people are going to watch this movie because of the war that mangal pandey has fought . People they are going to see the war in this movie but there is nothing like that they just hang mangal pandey in the end.
There is no rebel now war just a documentry . Ok I admit that movie can be good without war or Violence but isnt in this case because movie promo hoarding and trailors shows Aamir khan as warrior so we are expexting some engaging war sequences in end I evevn expecting atleast one hour war but its all boooooring .
PERFORMANCE:-
AAMIR KHAN - People Aamir is gr8 or else but for me if there is no lagaan then Aamir is ordinary Actor SRK is super star because he has many gr8 films eg. DDLJ, KKHH, DTPH, BAAZIGAR, DARR, DEVDAS, VEER ZAARA, but when comes to Aamir LAGAAN and DCH and all other are just small hit now comes to point Aamir has performed well.
RANI- She has smaller role than gracy in lagaan but she performs like a gem which glows even in 1000’s of big ordinary stones I thing this is insult ranis as she is a star to give her such a small and ordinary roles-
Amisha - she is one of those actress who rave about herself more than others . Warning for Amishas fans is that please dont miss a sigle frame of movie otherwise u could miss Amisshas role in movie
TOBY STEPHENS - he really acted brilliantly best pat of movie is when he and Aamir comes together.
Conclusion for me is that this movie will be disastor
