I have nothing against the Cokes and the Pepsis of the soft drink world...and although much maybe said about the carbonic acid in them...I still use these when I sit with a whisky or rum!!!
However, when it comes to having a plain cold drink...unadulterated by rum and whisky...I can think of nothing better than MANGOLA!!! Oh let me add to that...it should be a CHILLED Mangola!! For a Mangola that is not chilled is no Mangola at all!!
I prefer Mangola as it is a little thicker than most other Mango drinks such as Slice or even Frooti! On a hot day, there is nothing as refreshing as a nice chilled mangola!
It reminds me of the times we used to go trekking up in Shillong...way up into the hills, and deep into the forests nearby. We used to be tired, and sweaty and very very thirsty...and my friend used to say...’Ah...just imagine that chilled Mangola waiting for you....!!!! Imagine 2 or maybe 3 mangolas waiting...!!! Ah...that used to be agony and ecstasy all together!! For in Shillong I dont ever remember getting Mangolas...so there would be no Mangolas waiting anyway!! However, the picture of that Mangola would atleast start the juices flowing in our mouths!
