Our son was diagnosed for a specific disease that would have cured by antibiotics, but Dr. Radha Krishna specific doctor recommended a major surgery. Luckily I consulted couple of other doctors outside of Manipal to get a second opinion. Then the doctor immediately changed his stance, of course after getting terribly upset.
The nurses, the office staff and all are pretty nice, but the doctors are pretty big cheats.
If you have insurance, they will make sure they recommend all types of surgeries, to bump up the bill, whether one needs or not. Added to that, they adopt pressure tactics, where they tell you at night to prepare for a surgery next day. Just horrible !
It took me months to recover from the trauma that we as parents went thru. NEVER go to a pediatrician in Manipal.
