This is regarding the cancer treatment of my father. He was age 67 diagnosed with gall bladder cancer, as per reports from manipal. We showed him there because he showed symptoms of jaundice. the doctors went on with test for more than a month.
Around 4 lakhs we had to spend on tests alone. We went with the test reports to another doctor Dr Sainath and he told us it is not so serious. Our father was supposed to unertake an operation to remove the gall bladder and then undergo chemotheraphy. But one day suddenly our father complained of pain and we had to take him to manipal emergency care for attention.
And then stats the story. Initially, the doctors said we wil release him within a day - becuase he was having low blood pressure. But then they kept him for 3 weeks until he passed away. They did all wrong treatments - wrog medicines, experimentation and so on and we were not in a position to shift our father at this stage. Ultimately, we spent around 7.5 lakhs and no use.
In hindsight and in consultation with other doctors, we have now come to know the wronf treatment this hospital had done. the doctors are useless and just know to speak.
Never go there is my advice.
