co-written and directed by Navdeep sing, this movie was released in 2007, has got mild response (may be because it is not having any khans and kumars...??).
coming to the story....
abhay deol lives a boaring life in a small village called lakhlotin rajasthan with his wife nimmi ( gulpanag ) and a son.
one day a woman who calls herself manorama, comes to meet satyaveer (abhay) and offeers him a task to take the snaps of a politician, irrigation minister P.P.Rathore ( kulubhushan kharbanda ) who is having extra marital affairs. manorama wants the evidences in terms of the photos.
satyaveer accpets it and does the task. but then at one night he meets manorama, telling her owen name and her age i.e. 32 years, saying her life is insecured. next day news comes that manorama has got an accident and she is dead.
from here, the real muvie starts. satyaveer doesnt believe that manorama case is of an accident, it must be of murder, and he starts investigating.
as we watch the muvie further it unveils many secrets one by one..... and comes to a n evident conclusion...
we can see the frills of hitchcock here. it is just like an onion, we remove one after another layer of onion and it gets much and more spicy.
superb performence by abhay deol, satisfactory work by raima sen and gul panag.
small but good role by vinay pathak.
the plot is very interesting and complex, too. it is a start-to-finish kind a movie.
beautifully directed and screenplayed.
though it is a low budget muvie, which starts and ends in one village only, with no abroad locations and big starcasts, it is really a worth watching muvie.....
