Finding purpose of your life is your purpose

Man’s search for meaning by Viktor E frankl is a not only a book but it is a voice of thousands of prisoners who had suffered the extermination of hitler in Nazis concentration camps. Viktor E frankl is a neurologist and psychiatry as well as he is one of the survival of Nazis concentration camp. He is one of those who never say give up to his life inspite of the fact that whatever the circumstances are. He jotted down his all experiences, he experienced in Nazis concentration camp. This book has its two parts. The first one is about their experiences and circumstances of those three camps where author spend almost three years. The story starts with their arrival in one of more gigantic camp, Auschwitz, which is fitted with gas chambers and crematorium. When they first arrived, they had to lined up and then, the capos had taken their all possessions. After that, they had given a order to put off their all clothes in front of them and shaved their all hairs from their bodies. And they had allowed to take bath and then given them a tattered cloth, a unfitted shoes to wear. Along with, they had to sleep on a bed which had made over tyres and where hardly two people can sleep, they had order for nine people to sleep with a single blanket where the temperature was almost minus four degree Celsius. And then the whole first part is about how they suffer, how they are allowed to gas in gas chambers and how they tackle their problems? There is a second part of this book which describes the timeless formula for survival, searched by Viktor E frankl which he named as " logotherapy. " In this part he described that every person needs a meaning for his or her life so that he can do anything in any circumstances. The writing of this book is average and understandable. Every one should read it but may be it is not good for children of young age. But the book has described a lot of lessons. One of the famous quote of this book I want to share with you i.e. "Don’t aim at success-the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself. " Highly recommend, please go through this book.
