Currently I am pursuing my btech degree in marine engineering from indian maritime university kolkata formerly known as marine engineering and research institute. As I am the student of this university I can surely tell this is one of the best marine colleges of India. This college had a history of glorious decades. It is a fact, that in this marine industry this college carries its own reputation. Marine engineers from this college are reclaimed worldwide.

This college has Olympic size swimming pool for its cadets and also have Asia’s largest workshop. To get into this college one must clear the exam conducted by the IMU known as IMU-CET.
