I have been a Maruti admirer and facinated by the kind of company they are. I primarily intend to share my own experience after buying a Maruti 800, but before that would like to state the below for the first time visitors to this site.
I have been checking reviews of many products(Bike, Mobile, Laptop, Home Appliances etc) in Mouthshut.com for the last 4 years, also have been advising many a friends to have a check in the site for reviews of others customers/consumer before buying any products. Infact the exiting thing about the site is we can check the reviews on most of the products available in the market. Therefore, kdos to the website and the various people who have been writing reviews for people like me.
So coming back to my review, I just purchased a used Maruti 800 DX just a month back. It is a 2000 model(carb version) driven more than 70K km. There reason I bought this car was,
a)I wanted a car
b)Within my Budget.
c)Wanted a low maintenance car.
The best part about the car is that the car is ultra smooth even after driven 70K km. The mechanic was saying the car’s engine life is between 1.2 to 2 Lakhs depending the way it has been driven. Though I have been driving this for the last 1 month, I need to say I have driven almost 2K+ kms including a trip to Chennai, Salem and Tumkur.
The vehicle is still looking new and looks ready for another 70K km.
