I have a 1999 Maruti 800 and till today its running smooth. It had never stopped on the middle of my travel. Regular service will keep your vehicle in good condition. I used to get 18KMPL with AC in highways and 15KMPL with AC in City. My average speed is 75KMPH. The AC is cool and effective.
Recently we visited Kodaikanal and it’s a nice experience to travel in some ghad roads. We covered around 800 Kilometers in our travel. Its a nice experience to travel in hills. Four people can sit comfortable. In Long drives some time I used to get leg pain as there is standard space in the Leg side. We cant expect much comfort in 800 as it is a standard Car segment.
The good thing is Mariti spares are not that costly and it is available everywhere. Always go for Original spares.
I will recommended this car for Entry level to a small family.
