Well, I don’t own this vehicle personally, my cousin brother owns it and I have driven it for more than 6000 Kms, mainly on highways. It’s almost 2 years old car, now. Engine pickup isn’t that good with ac switched on. Engine vibration is there. I think, we can’t expect more from a 998 cc, 3 cylindered engine. Ac performance is good. Mileage is good, got 18 Kmpl with ac switched on.
Tested highway mileage. City mileage is good too. A good city hatchback. I’m not comparing other cars in the same segment, because it loses when it is compared with 4 cylinder powered engines. Hyundai i10 is any day better than this. I have driven several cars till date. Service quality is good. Once we encountered a problem in the middle of the highway and Maruti Suzuki call centre gave us a local mobile number for further assistance. That person didn’t pick up the call for 3 hrs.
Then, he said his work duration was over and gave us another number, now this person didn’t pick up the call at all. We managed to drive the vehicle slowly. That was the time, when we lost the faith over their so called on-road service. The car was 2 months old then and was driven for hardly 3000 Kms. Then the fault was rectified by a nearby authorised dealer.
Overall feedback- Good, but there are some drawbacks.
The engine continuously vibrates at idle. That vibrations can be felt from the cabin.
